Katimavik is extremely pleased to welcome onto our team Adim Hébert, the new Youth Development Coordinator.
In his role, Adim will create dynamic and supportive networks in Katimavik host communities thus creating opportunities for Katimavik Volunteers to have life changing experiences. Adim possess a solid understanding of our NEW pedagogies and the challenges and opportunities facing today’s young Canadians. His involvement with our organization started in 2005 as a participant volunteer. After completing the program Adim joined the Katimavik staff team as a Project Leader, Project Coordinator, and Communications & Development Manager until 2012.
Adim has been involved with several youth focused organizations and most recently was a board member with the BC Camps Association and Supervisor of Outdoor Education & Summer Programs with YMCA Camp Elphinstone.
His expertise and knowledge of project management and partnership development make him the ideal candidate to successfully support Katimavik youth development initiatives.
Adim will be a key player in supporting fruitful collaborations with our partner organizations and communities, as well as help maximize the potential of our youth volunteers on the ground.
